FC Karnten vs A.Lustenau
Karnten are last in Austria II Division with
points. In the last 6 matches there is sign of improvement in this team they
got 7 points from this matches - 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. This 3 points are
with 2 more than the points which they earned earlier in the Championship.
Lustenau is second currently and with 5 points behind the leader Kapfenberg
they will look to win away at Friday. After a row of 3 losses they get back on
track with 3 wins and in the last matches perform good. This match will be not
so easy for them, but i think they will manage to win. Away win Bet Advice : AWAY, Best odds: Gamebookers Bet365 Pinnacle Sports BWin

UVJETI SUDJELOVANJA
Bolton vs Charlton
Bolton are winless in 3 and will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Charlton. True the visitors have improved a lot lately, but still, they are one of the 3 poorest travellers in the league with a record of 1-1-10. They managed a narrow 1-0 precious win away to Pompey in their last outing but I do not think they will be able to repeat their success at the Reebok. Bolton thrashed them twice by 4-1 in their last two encounters here, and will favs to collect all pts again. Bet Advice : HOME WIN, Best odds: Gamebookers Bet365 Pinnacle Sports BWin
MK Dons vs Barnet
The Dons are winless in their last 2 here, drawing 2-2 to Lincoln (missing two penalties), and losing 1-0 to Swindon, after winning the previous 3 in a row, and will see this as a must-win to keep their promotion hopes alive. They are now sitting 4th but just a point behind second-placed Swindon. Teenage Reading winger Jonathan Hayes (19-year-old Republic of Ireland youth international) has joined MK Dons on loan until the end of the season. Both sides met twice in the last 2 yrs, drawing 3-3 at Barnet this season in September 2006, and MK Dons winning 3-0 at Barnet the LDV Vans Trophy encounter in November 2005. Lleyton Hewitt vs Michael Russell
Hewitt, the local favourite year after year, but who year after year
disappoints his fans at home court, has serious problems coming into
this match. First of all he is recovering after a 1 %1/2 tear in his
right calf which is an important injury for any player but more so for
Lleyton who has struggled mediocrity in the last months. We also have
to mention that he has played only 2 games before the Open while
Russell as I have mentioned earlier is coming after some clear wins
this year even if these gave occured in a challenger tournament. Michael
Russell has turned pro in the same year as Hewitt, 1998, but hasn't
achieved great performance since then. He has declarated that he likes
playing in front of big crowds and his chance is coming tomorrow
morning when he faces the local favourite on central court. His recent
form and will to win over the former no.1 will be decisive in this 1'st
round game. Bet Advice: Russell to WIN, Best odds: Gamebookers Bet365 Pinnacle Sports BWin
Australia Open Tennis Championship 2007 Preview
The tennis season gets into full swing this Monday with the start of the first major, the Australian Open in Melbourne. All the talk is about whether this year world No.1, Roger Federer, can finally land the Grand Slam. Defeat in the 2006 final at Roland Garros was the only blot on last season's copybook, which featured victory in this event, at SW19 and Flushing Meadows. Given his near-invincibility on fast-court surfaces, and record of two victories in the last three years, it's no surprise that PinnacleSports.com is offering the Federer Express at 1.398 against the field. On the opposite side of the draw, no.2 seed Rafael Nadal is the one player with a superior head-to-head record against Federer, unfortunately the Spaniard's strength is clay. However, if you feel that there will be a repeat of last year's French and Wimbledon finals, PinnacleSports.com are offering the pair versus the field at 1.274. Any bettors considering that as buying money should be aware that Nadal pulled out his preparation tournament due to a groin injury, continuing his jinx in this event, as he also pulled out in 2006 due to a foot injury. Looking beyond Nadal, sixth seed Andy Roddick is a realistic challenger, having been revitalised by his new coach, Jimmy Connors. If Roddick is to improve on his 4th round defeat here last year, he would have to overcome a likely 3rd round match with Marat Safin (2005 winner). Victory over the Russian would set Roddick on course for a semi-final clash with his nemesis, Roger Federer. As he has lost all but one of their 13 meetings, including defeat in last year's US Open, any wager on the American going all the way, would be contingent on him taking his game to a new level. In five appearances in this event, Roddick has never gone beyond the semi-finals, which he reached in 2003 & 2005.
Empoli FC vs Parma FC
While every team in Serie A is looking for new players, Parma has to wait for a new president. In these weeks Parma can not buy and can not sell. A difficult situation that can be an advantage for the strong Empoli. The team trained by Gigi Cagni has already 22 points and wants to continue the beautiful start of the season. The goalkeeper Balli is one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A while Almiron (see photo) guarantees a solid midfield together with Marianini, Moro and Buscè. Parma will miss his star Morfeo and has also some problems in the defensive line.

Basketball: Ulker - Benetton
While I agree that Ulker is not in the most brilliant form, Benetton is certainly in the worst possible moment. They added Schumpert from Bologna to their lineup and have to fit him in the team. Plus, the team is trying more to understand what their coach wants from them rather than winning games. Last Saturday in the league they were destroyed by Siena and before that they even lost against notorious non-travelers Upea. For this game Benetton will also be without FW/C Goree who stayed in Treviso, so another important part of the team is out. I expected the line to be something like -4.5 for Ulker, now I see Benetton as favorites, which really is incredible. Bet Advice: HOME WIN, Best odds: Gamebookers Bet365 Pinnacle Sports BWin
Lively LYON can roear to European glory
No team has won the Champions League more than once in the
past six seasons and the smart money is on a new name being etched
onto the trophy come 23rd May. Lyon (15/2
bet365) have already played some breathtaking football and are
set to become the first French team to win the competition since
1993.
Their blistering domestic form has virtually ensured a sixth
successive league title, leaving them free to concentrate on a
trailblazing European campaign. Not that they&rsquove been
unduly distracted so far, topping Group E and out-playing Real
Madrid (12/1
bet365) for one and a half games in the process.
There are no real superstars in the Lyon team, with goals
flying in from every position. Malouda and Juninho have been
midfield dynamos while a Cris-led defence (backed up in goal by the
stoic Gregory Coupet), have been as typically tight-fisted as you
might expect from a Gerard Houllier-managed team.
Chelsea (7/2
bet365) would also be first-time winners although the Champions
League is fast becoming a Holy Grail for them. Shevchenko is
proving to be an Abramovich-enforced-hindrance rather than a help
to the Blues, although edging Barcelona (10/3)
in a hard-fought Group A will at least fuel the belief that
it&rsquos their year. Rijkaard&rsquos reigning champions
will also be no pushover, although it takes a gifted team to enjoy
back-to-back successes in this competition.
Indeed, the year was 1990 when Milan (14/1
bet365) achieved this feat and, although the Rossoneri have a
superb European pedigree, the current team relies too much on Kaka
for inspiration. Meanwhile, their neighbours Inter (12/1)
hardly convinced in the group stages and will be viewed as a
favourable opponents by many.
Of the other British teams, Man United (8/1
bet365) have been purring domestically although their limited
squad and failure to penetrate defences in Glasgow and Copenhagen
is a worry. Similarly, neither Liverpool nor Arsenal can be
supported with much confidence, despite their unexpected successes
in 2004/5 and 2005/6 respectively.
As with all cup competitions, a dollop of luck is required to
go all the way and Lyon are certainly due their share after being
the better team when losing to PSV and Milan at the quarter final
stage in the past couple of years. This season, they have acquired
that missing killer instinct, winning matches without playing well
and establishing a momentum which could take them all the way to
Athens. Barring injuries, they are by far most attractive betting
prospect in this season&rsquos Champions League.

PSV Eindhoven vs Bordeaux
Great performace in Champions league this season by PSV,they made very good team this season and they should finish league format competition with win.Bordeaux had extremly bad season in CL and french league so far,I think that they are not thinking about this match, because they allready has third place in group, and now they have to iprove in France, especialy in away matches where they have poor record 2-0-7 so far this season.PSV made some good transfers this summer, and team is much stronger this season,I think that they want to iprove their performance in every match, especialy in Europe, where some young players like Aissati,Afellay and Farfan get experience for important matches,I mean on mathes of 1/8 finals CL.
